Fancy a Fancy Lacy Fan in Your Wedding Plan

Fan bouquets are traditionally used in weddings by either the bride or bride's maids. These simple yet elegant bouquets are a perfect alternative to the traditional bridal bouquet and absolutely wonderful for Asian themed weddings.

Originally from the Victorian Era, the fan bouquet became popular in the 1980's. This type of bridal bouquet was traditionally made with a fancy lacy fan with a bouquet of flowers, covering the fan that conform to the general shape.

Beads, ribbon and baby's breath can be used as accents with flowers of choice. The handle can, however, be made with thick paper and anything you like.

If your after something a little different to carry down the isle, then a gorgeous fan bouquet should get everyone's attention.

One idea is to make very simple ones for your guests and then more elaborate fan bouquets for you and your bride's maids.

They will make wonderful wedding gifts for your guests and will be treasured. They may last a life time if you choose to go with artificial flowers but fresh flowers can be used as well.

A fan bouquet may also make a beautiful home decor item. They can be used as a centre piece, or hung on the wall in your home or office. For the home artificial flowers are recommended so they will not need to be thrown away.

If you choose to buy them rather than make your own we can help you make these custom to your individual needs. These can be made in virtually any colour you want with any flowers you choose.

Great for adding a touch of elegance to your wedding or maybe just an outdoor event that you want to spruce up a bit.

Be daring, carry a fan bouquet on your wedding day!
